Mid-Sioux Opportunity, Inc. Head Start and Early Head Start programs are now accepting vehicle bids for two new or slightly used vans (used vans must be under 15,000 miles). There will be a total of six minivans that will be traded in.
Linked are two bid sheets - one for Head Start and one for Early Head Start. Each bid sheet denotes the vehicles that will be traded in for each new or slightly used minivan.
The trade-in vehicles will be available at the Mid-Sioux Opportunity office in Remsen if you are interested in looking at them. Please contact 712-786-2001 for an appointment.
Requirements of the van:
- New or slightly used van (under 15,000 miles)
- 6 passenger – bucket seats in second row, no bench seat
- Power steering, power windows/locks and cruise control
- Automatic side doors and hatch
- Keyless remote that includes automatic doors and hatch
- Any color
Bids must be received by the end of business day, Monday, January 23, 2023. The winning bid will be based on price, quality, and mileage. Mid-Sioux Opportunity reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Due to our federal funding, notification of receiving the bid award may not be until February 2023. Receipt of bids does not obligate Mid-Sioux Opportunity to purchase a vehicle.
