Local businesses in five counties, along with Mid-Sioux Opportunity, Inc. have collectively raised nearly $1,700 to provide assistance to local families.  Funds were raised by patrons purchasing mittens for $1 at participating businesses. Those funds were then provided to Mid-Sioux Opportunity, Inc. to assist families in need. “Thank you to everyone who donated to our mitten fundraiser and to the businesses who made it possible. We appreciate the local support to assist our agency in providing services to those in need.” said Cindy Harpenau, Mid-Sioux Executive Director.

Thank you to those businesses that participated and allowed so many families to receive assistance this winter.
