These funds will be very helpful as we work to support families in need of emergency/crisis assistance.

The Low-income Home Energy Assistance Program (LiHEAP) can help Iowa families stay warm and reduce health and safety problems. The program provides assistance with heating bills, energy crisis, and furnace replacement and repairs.

Local businesses in five counties along with Mid-Sioux Opportunity, Inc. have raised nearly $1,300 collectively to provide assistance to needy families this winter.

Registration begins February 1, 2021!

The United Fund raised $18,600.00 in 2020 to support projects in the local community.

It is our responsibility to make sure that elected officials understand the impact of what we do.

LIHEAP applications for seniors and disabled persons begins in October.
